• Calculations run in your browser. The measurements and prices you type are not sent to us.

Calculator inputs

Your measurements, prices and options are processed by JavaScript on your device. They are not transmitted to our servers when you calculate.

Share links, copy and print

When you choose Share, the page builds a link whose part after “#” contains your numeric inputs and unit choices. Browsers do not send that part of a link to the web server when the page is requested. Anyone you give the link to can see those numbers. Free-text fields (such as area or product names) are never included. Copy and print use your device’s clipboard and print dialog; nothing is uploaded.

Server and hosting logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Cloudflare processes this for delivery, security and operations under its own privacy policy. We do not combine it with calculator inputs, which never reach the server.

Contact messages

The contact form does not send anything from this website. It opens your own email app with a message addressed to hello@thecubicyardcalculator.com; nothing is sent until you press send there. When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix reported problems, and delete it when it is no longer needed for that.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its use. Email hello@thecubicyardcalculator.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Analytics

No analytics are enabled. If we add them, we will update this page first. The site is built so that analytics could only record fixed event names, never the values you enter.

Fonts and third parties

Fonts and images are served from this site. Calculators do not load third-party scripts. Links to external sources (such as manufacturer data sheets) take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Children

The site is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
