Using the calculators

Cubic Yard Calculator (thecubicyardcalculator.com) is run by Kumar Baniya, based in the United Kingdom. It is free to use for personal and business estimating. By using it you accept these terms.

Estimates only

The calculators perform arithmetic on the values you enter. Results are estimates and depend entirely on the accuracy of your measurements and of the supplier information (such as density, bag yield, minimum orders and prices) that you provide.

• Confirm product details, quantities and prices with your supplier before ordering.
• The site does not recommend depths, slab thickness, concrete mixes, reinforcement, compaction methods or vehicle loads.
• Nothing on the site is engineering, structural, horticultural, legal or financial advice. For structural work, follow the plans and advice of a qualified professional and local building codes.

Product and third-party information

Where a preset comes from a manufacturer (for example concrete bag yields), it is shown with its source and the date we checked it. Manufacturers can change their products and figures; the label on the product you buy takes precedence. Trademarks belong to their owners, and their mention does not imply endorsement.

No warranty

We work to keep the formulas correct and test them, but the site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on an estimate, including over- or under-ordering.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or copy its content wholesale for republication.
